A Message from the Author

Thank you for joining me on this page for my new book A Hair's Whisper -  From Cancer to the Courtroom.

I'm thrilled to launch this memoir as at one point I didn't think it was going to happen.

To have so many people help me along the way, without them there would be no story, has been a humbling experience. Friends have been caught up with the injustice of this scandalous drama and with their encouragement I've produced something I hope will help not only spread the word about the corporate greed and bullying, but will also help others when they find their strength waning.

As the saying goes " You can lead from the front or push from the back'". I've discovered along the way that pushing from the back can be just as effective.

Foreword

I am honoured to have the most beautiful foreword written by David Miceli - Co-lead trial counsel, re: Taxotere MDL, Kahn v. Sanofi (case 16-17039)

His powerful message will send a shiver down your spine.

Book Description

The dramatic and captivating true story of corporate greed and the bullying of a cancer patient.

When Shirley Ledlie, a breast cancer patient survivor, stands up to one of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies and its lawyers, she embarks on a journey of strength and determination, and with an unbreakable sense of duty to do the right thing.

Despite fearing for her safety and standing at a mental crossroads, not knowing which path to take, Shirley shares her innermost thoughts, even those she’s ashamed of, and her rollercoaster of emotions from despair to elation and self-doubt to confidence.

A Hair’s Whisper is a gripping and empowering story that shows what can be achieved when we fight for the truth.

This cover won first prize in a competition as a result I was interviewed for the website All Author which is a great resource for both authors and readers.
